Wood rails on stone stoops and stairs are a specialty of ours. We built this rail to blend in with the Craftsman feel of this 1920s home in Montclair, NJ.
Jason Aksman, owner and master carpenter, lectures the crew on the importance of the pitch block in stair and rail making. We will also replace the missing column and half wall. The finished product is immediately below.
