About Jason Aksman and Fine Custom Carpentry:
I come from a multi-generational construction family and have been a builder all my life. I have worked professionally as a carpenter and craftsman for twenty-eight years.
In 1987 I registered the trademark “Fine Custom Carpentry” in Essex County, NJ. Over the past twenty-three years I have formed many strong, long-term relationships with employees, subcontractors, designers, architects and, most importantly, clients.
In all our work the emphasis is on integrity and craftsmanship. We excel at “difficult” remodels and problem solving.
I have operated a wood-shop and office facility at our present address for the past seventeen years.
While we have a broad base of experience in all phases of residential remodeling and restoration, we specialize in additions, kitchens and baths in older homes, period renovations, custom trim, woodworking , built-ins and mantels.
We have worked mainly in Essex County, but have followed some clients to Manhattan and Ulster County, NY.
Fine Custom Carpentry is insured, licensed, and I can provide you with sterling 
references.
